Terms of use

Drift Test Module

Version
2026-09-27

These terms are an agreement between you and Audible Goods about your use of Drift Test Module (“Drift”). By activating a product key you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not activate Drift.

1. Your licence

When you buy Drift you receive a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to use it to test your own voice. You may not resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute Drift or your product key, or copy, modify or reverse‑engineer Drift except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.

2. Who can use Drift

You must be at least 13 years old to use Drift. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must read and agree to these terms on your behalf, and is responsible for your use of Drift.

3. Product keys

Your product key is for you. Do not share or publish it. Your key is stored only in the browser where you enter it, and clearing that browser’s site data removes it, so keep your purchase email. We may deactivate a key that has been shared, published or obtained without paying for it.

4. Purchases and refunds

Refunds are handled as described at the point of purchase. If you are unhappy with Drift, contact us through audiblegoods.com.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Drift, or the reports it makes, for anything that is unlawful, or that promotes hatred, violence or discrimination against people because of who they are; that harasses, threatens or exploits anyone; or that infringes someone else’s rights. We may deactivate the key of anyone who uses Drift this way.

6. What you make is yours

You own your takes and the reports Drift makes from them. We claim no rights in them.

7. Your data stays with you

Drift runs in your browser. It listens to your microphone only while it is measuring, analyses the sound there and then, and keeps no recording of it. Your takes are saved as pitch measurements in that browser’s storage and in any report you choose to download. None of it is uploaded to us. You are responsible for keeping copies of anything you want to keep: browser storage can be cleared by you, by the browser, or when your device runs short of space, and we cannot recover it.

8. Results are a guide, not a verdict

Drift’s scores, rankings and descriptions of your keys, including which keys it calls your strongest and weakest, are measurements of one take, sung on one day, in your room, through your microphone and browser. They depend on how you sang, how you set your range, and conditions Drift cannot see. They are not an absolute or permanent judgement of your voice, and we do not guarantee that they are accurate, complete or right for any song or performance. You may find that a different key suits you better than the one Drift ranks highest, and your results may change from one take to the next. To the extent the law allows, you have no claim against Audible Goods because a key Drift ranked highly did not suit you, or because another key did.

9. Your voice

Drift is a practice and measurement tool. It is not medical, therapeutic or professional vocal advice, and it does not replace a singing teacher, voice therapist or doctor. Sing only within a range that is comfortable for you, rest between takes, and stop straight away if singing causes pain, hoarseness, strain or loss of voice. If you have, or think you may have, a problem with your voice, get advice from a qualified professional before using Drift. You use Drift at your own risk, and to the extent the law allows, Audible Goods is not responsible for any strain or injury to your voice.

10. Updates and changes

We may update Drift, change its features, or change these terms. When the terms change, Drift will ask you to agree to the new version.

11. No warranty

Drift is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be free of errors, work with every browser, device or microphone, measure every voice accurately, or never lose data.

12. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Audible Goods is not liable for lost takes, lost data, lost profits or any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Drift. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

13. Ending this agreement

You may stop using Drift at any time. If you break these terms, your licence ends and we may deactivate your key. Sections 6 to 9, 11 and 12 continue after the licence ends.
